The Locations of the World Empty

Hollywood - Hollywood consists of several urbanite neighborhoods that would be of little to no interest of Vampires or other Supernatural beings. The only good place for a childe of the night to roam would be the strip. Constantly alive; Hollywood is one of the many cities that never sleep. Both humans and Kindred walk the streets at night – And who knows what else.

Vesuvius – Run by the Kindred known as Viola Velvet, or “VV” – Vesuvius is more or less a strip club. VV has been said to use her disciplines to attract customers. Certain Kindred that have it in with her are allowed “special” time with her dancers.

Red Spot – A quick stop cash and go liquor gas station restaurant. It’s really a one in all shop for anyone that needs anything. Ask at the counter about their daily burrito special to get access to more illicit materials…

Lucky Star Motel – Considered a safe haven for kindred and other super naturals, the Lucky Star Motel is a well known drudge of mystery, death, magic, and heavily stained mattresses.

The Sin Bin – A smut peddlers paradise. Run by the greediest most dirty and disrespected man in Hollywood – Jimmy “Anaconda” Stockton. A known hang out for Hunters, hoping to catch unsuspecting kindred off guard trying to get a snack on the peep show girls.

Chinese Mans Theater – The old Theater house that was used during the mid 50’s and late 60’s. A fire crippled the owner and it’s been unused ever since. Despite being the perfect haven for vampires, most supernatural avoid the Theater in fear of the rumors of a Gargoyle.

General Hope Hospital – A large and industrial hospital that cares more about money than treating people. Poorly trained foreign doctors and dirty underhanded nurses with sticky fingers roam the gray and eggshell-pink halls during the day. A blood bank in the basement operated by a Ghoul is a stop-n-shop for kindred looking for easy blood.

Hollywood Plots – The local cemetery that was saved by activists from being moved into the hills. It holds normal every day people and dead celebrities that no one cares about anymore. The gates have been locked up tight and it’s off limits to the public at night. Reports of moaning and scratching sounds coming from behind the walls have been flooding the local police department for the past several months.

The Heights – All hope abandon ye who enter here. Known as one of the largest werewolf stomping grounds on the Western Seaboard – The Heights consists of urban neighborhoods on the outskirts of Hollywood stretching back into the hills and along Griffith Park. Every vampire in every sect and clan avoids The Heights with great passion.

Santa Monica – Santa Monica is most likely the safest place for childe kindred freshly embraced. It’s a small area of Los Angeles full of luxury apartments that dot the ocean side. Further inland there are lower income housing and clubs that populate the area. Aside from the thin bloods that run the streets, there are few actual kindred that live permanently in Santa Monica.

Trip’s Pawn Shop – Run by Jonathan “Trip” Lewis; the pawnshop is a good place for making a few easy bucks. If you’re friends with Trip, or do him a few favors he might even let you have a look at his more private stock. Above the Pawnshop are low income housing apartments used by criminals and kindred alike. They allow those that would rather not be asked any questions a safe place to keep a low profile.

Mercurio’s Apartment – A popular Vampire Ghoul that can “get you anything” you want or need… As long as you have the money he wants.

The Dank Diner – A small old fashioned eatery behind the pier that welcomes children of the night. During the day they serve normal food to normal people. But after the sun goes down they serve “the freshest” blood available in town. Drink at your own risk; before Darla opened the Diner, Santa Monica had an over whelming homeless problem. Now, there isn’t a vagrant to be found.

Andre’s Auto Parts – A junk and scrap yard run by the Vampire Ghoul Andre Lopez. Used as a front to collect metal for his true passion – Making bladed weapons. Andre’s shop also houses the entrance to the Nosferatu warrens that lead deep into the ground under Santa Monica.

The Warrens – The safe haven for the clan Nosferatu that inhabits Los Angeles. A great place to hide if you’re a Nos, but a terrible place to be if you’re anyone else. It’s dark, damp, deep under ground, and full of rats and garbage that the Nosferatu collect to build their domiciles with. Regardless of their amazing capabilities of subterfuge, there are easier ways to seek out the Nosferatu than braving a labyrinth of carved stone and acidic disease infested millponds.

Kip’s “Second Chance” Bail Bonds – Kip Kilpatrick runs a Bail Bonds office in downtown Santa Monica. He’s constantly turning out Bounty Hunters due to the high criminal rate and unconfirmed disappearances of his work force. Kip is unawares of the super natural world, but offers jobs out under the table to anyone willing to risk their neck for them.

Asylum – A popular night club run by Jeanette and Therese. Two Kindred “sisters” that are constantly at each others throats about even the smallest things. Neither of them are to be trusted. But if you’re new in town, and need a few bucks it’s a good place to find some “under the table” work or get a drink, alcohol or otherwise.

The Santa Monica Pier – Home of the Thin Bloods that roam the beaches and liter the streets of Santa Monica. There are theme park rides and games to be played. It’s constantly over flowing with people and activity, making it easy for kindred to walk away with an easy meal. – Under the pier is a popular spot for the Thin Bloods to hang out while they’re pouting about being inferior.

The Beach House – Home of Doctor Stephen Cleburne, also known as the Alchemist, Dr. Cleburne is a Tzimisce Sabbat flesh crafter known for his cruel appetite for undeveloped flesh. Several of the young girls that have gone missing in Santa Monica have turned up somewhere in his basement. With a horribly twisted and hideous face, Doctor Cleburne uses an army of Ghouls to do his bidding around Santa Monica.

China Town – Run by the Kuie-jin, China Town is home to another type of supernatural group that’s currently vying for dominance with the kindred of Los Angeles. The Kuie-jin, despite being able to drink blood, are not the progeny of Caine. They have mysterious powers of shape shifting and invisibility unlike the Obfuscate skill that some vampire clans posses.

The Red Dragon – A large fancy restaurant is the cover of this Kuie-jin hideout. Run by Wong Fei Hong, the original Drunken Master, the Red Dragon is a dark and seedy collection of crime lords and enforcers for the Chinese Mafia. The Red Dragon is also the largest underground casino in Los Angeles, and home to Kyousuke Yuki, a young and upstart Hunter.

Happy Chang’s Shop – Happy Chang The Mad Merchant. Renowned for his abilities with Chinese Magic and potion brewing, Chang is a master Alchemist and occult merchant that has magical items ranging from Minotaur eyes to Cockatrice Feathers. Even though Chang lost his mind over a hundred years ago, his concoctions remain some of the best in Los Angeles.

Taikiri Dojo – Training hall for most of the Kuie-jin in China Town. Run by the mysterious and powerful, Spear Catches Leaf. Normally, only Kuie-jin are trained here, but there have been rumors that he also trains kindred that he likes.

Heaven on Earth – Heaven on Earth Massage Parlor; a great place to get a great massage if you’ve got the money. Some of the most beautiful girls in China Town work here to meet your every desire. Though don’t ask for a happy ending, cause they’ll give you the boot. – Also the hang out for the Human Tho Gang that’s fighting with the Chinese Mafia for control of China Town.

The Black Raven – A small crook in the back of an alley with no street lights or discernable signs. Run by General Ming Chow, The Black Raven gives the impression that it’s a herbal medicine shop. But if you ask for super special medicine, the cabinets spin around all sneaky like to reveal enough arms to supply a small army.
